Using Building Your Marriage Upon the Rock to prepare for marriage a blessing. With it we were able to confirm that our beliefs were in alignment, work out some difficult situations, and minute details of our relationship that we would never have thought to talk about.
We have used several premarital counseling books over the years. Unfortunately, none of them addressed issues we are concerned about. From the beginning, it gets into those issues. I especially appreciate the section on the Marriage Covenant. I highly recommend this book.

The responsibility a pastor has toward couples is huge! No pastor wants to see marriages struggle or end in divorce. Shepherding couples so they realize God’s plan for marriage and helping them prepare for marriage is of the utmost importance.
